ADHD informed psychotherapy and counselling
ADHD can affect much more than concentration. It can impact emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, motivation, organisation, anxiety and the ability to rest. Many adults with ADHD also describe feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, exhausted from masking, or frustrated by years of trying to “just try harder”.
I offer ADHD-informed counselling and psychotherapy for adults who want space to better understand themselves, manage emotional overwhelm, explore patterns of self-criticism, and develop a more compassionate relationship with their neurodivergence.
Sessions may support you with ADHD-related anxiety, burnout, rejection sensitivity, low self-esteem, masking, relationship difficulties, procrastination, emotional regulation and the impact of late diagnosis or self-recognition.
Specialised Support for Neurodivergence
Autism informed psychotherapy and counselling
Autism-informed counselling recognises that autistic people may experience the world differently, including differences in sensory processing, communication, emotional regulation, social energy, identity and relationships. Therapy can be especially helpful when you have spent years masking, trying to fit in, or feeling misunderstood.
I offer autism-informed counselling and psychotherapy for adults who want a space that is respectful, collaborative and sensitive to neurodivergent experience. Sessions can support you in understanding your needs, reducing self-criticism, exploring identity, and making sense of patterns such as burnout, overwhelm or anxiety.
Support may include autism-related anxiety, masking, sensory overwhelm, autistic burnout, relationships, communication differences, self-esteem, emotional regulation, identity, late diagnosis or self-recognition.
OCD support psychotherapy and counselling
OCD can be distressing and exhausting, especially when intrusive thoughts, rumination, checking, reassurance-seeking or compulsive behaviours start to take up more and more space in daily life. It can also bring shame or fear, particularly when thoughts feel unwanted, confusing or difficult to talk about.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for adults experiencing OCD-related anxiety, intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns. Sessions provide a confidential space to understand what is happening, reduce self-blame, and explore the emotional distress that can sit beneath obsessive thoughts and compulsions.
Support may include working with intrusive thoughts, rumination, checking, reassurance-seeking, perfectionism, anxiety, guilt, shame and the impact OCD can have on relationships, work and everyday life.
